In August, “In the Air Tonight” explores two sides of 80’s music: the heard and the unheard. On August 12th (special 6 to 8 p.m., Internet-only show) and August 19th, we’ll get into some album tracks and deep cuts from 80’s bands and artists. They might be B-sides, outtakes, rarities, or songs that actually got some radio airplay…but nothing that was released as a single. Then on August 26th, it’s a new year on campus and for “In the Air Tonight,” so it’s back to the hits and some of the most popular and best-loved songs that hit the charts from 1980 to 1989. That’s 6 to 8 p.m. ONLY on wtsr.org for August 12th, and over-the-air as well as online in our regular time slot, Sunday nights 9 to 11 p.m. on the 19th and 26th. Open your mind!
