“In the Air Tonight” Special October Shows!

posted on Oct.15, 2012

“In the Air Tonight” falls into October with two special shows to close out the month. On October 21st, it’s the 2nd annual Homecoming Weekend show, showcasing some of the bands, artists and songs that defined WTSR during the 1980s. Requests are always welcome, especially from those of you that remember the station from this time period.

Then, on October 28th, the 2nd annual Halloween show! This year’s edition will be listener-voted. What musical “costume” would you like your 80’s music dressed up in for the holiday? The choices are: songs from the year 1979, songs from 1990, cover songs done in the 80’s, or more recent covers of 80’s songs. E-mail your preference to airtonightDJ@gmail.com by Thursday, October 25th!

And don’t forget to tune into TCNJ Lions football during Homecoming on October 20th…Pat Lavery will be joining fellow WTSR alumni and current community volunteers Chris Kubak (Striker Bill) and Mike Leatherwood (Mike & Tom Awesome Show) on the call of the game during the third quarter. “In the Air Tonight” can be heard every Sunday night from 9 to 11 p.m. on 91.3 FM…open your mind!

I can’t wait to join the October 28th, 2nd annual Hallowenn show. If it is anything like the first year’s show, then it is going to be great! The “In the Air Tonight” is a great show too. Great programing! If you missed last year’s show, tune in this year. You won’t be disappointed.
