Welcome back, listeners. Congrats on finishing your first week of classes. Whether you spent winter break working low-pay jobs, padding your résumés, or shamelessly bumming like a hobo, the start of a new semester always means a chance to start anew. If you, like most people (myself included), gave up on those so-called New Year’s resolutions not even a week into January, here’s a playlist to fluff your feathers and drag yourself out of your Netflix binge. Oh Land’s “White Nights” will not only get you to the gym and work out but also motivate you to run those extra ten minutes on the treadmill. And maybe, just maybe, “Medicate Or Stimulate” by Minutes Til Midnight will inspire you to care about that class you’re just taking to fulfill yet another liberal learning requirement.
