Little Green Cars hail from Ireland with a big sound, some wondrous harmonies and heartbreaking lyrics. Something about them – maybe those harmonies – kind of reminds me of Ra Ra Riot or Dirty Projectors, but your mileage may vary. Check out their hit, The John Wayne, here. If you like what you hear you can download their song Maw Maw for FREE on their facebook page, and The John Wayne is available on iTunes now! Also be sure to check out their website for more information/drawings.

Rilo Kiley are coming off a 3 year “break up” and putting out a collection of b-sides and rarities called “RKive” April 2. They just released one of the songs, Let Me Back In, on Spin. It’s an ode to LA and was referred to as “I Love LA” by the fan base for years. The only release of this song was from Austin City Limits back in 2005 but this version is (obviously) a lot fuller.

Wildlife Control is an up and coming indie band based out of Brooklyn & San Francisco and sound like Phoenix if Phoenix was made of members of the Ramones. They “use the internet to communicate and teleportation to play shows on both coasts.” Above is the video for their first single “Analog or Digital” from their EP, Spin, which was released today. Check out the EP here or, if you’re in the NYC area, head over to Arlene’s Grocery where they’re doing a Wednesday residency for the month of April. Hope to see more from these guys soon!
