The topics of discussion included, but was not limited to, an unjust situation between taxi cab drivers in Milwaukee and the city government.

INTERVIEW: Dr. Henry Pollack (Nobel Peace Prize Laureate)

On Wednesday, April 18, 2012, Zach Zappala spoke with Dr. Henry Pollack, a world-renowned geophysicist and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate. Dr. Pollack sits on the International Panel on Climate Change and received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007 alongside Al Gore and other climatologists who sit on the panel. He visited The College of NJ to lecture on climate change, debunking myths and presenting his monumental research.

Dr. Pollack’s most recent book was published in 2010 and is called “A World Without Ice.”

Brian Ahrens and Gregory Burr are students at The College of New Jersey. They host a political discourse show every Monday at 12 pm noon that airs on 91.3 FM WTSR.

On Monday, April 9th, they discussed, dissected, and thoroughly analyzed the United States immigration system. They tackled the issue from a multitude of political, philosophical, and historical perspectives.

Dr. Taylor is an associate professor at The College of New Jersey within the Philosophy, Religion, and Classical Studies Department. His expertise includes medical ethics, morality of markets, ethical theory, action theory, and metaphysical issues surrounding death.
