Listener’s Block: Valentine’s Day

posted on Feb.10, 2014

Love is in the air, listeners! Now even if you’re like me and you don’t necessarily have that “special someone” to celebrate with, that doesn’t mean that you have to be excluded from the Hallmark festivities. Do yourself a favor and shamelessly order as much takeout as you want because every deliveryman will assume you will be ordering for two, or go out and buy all the glorious 50% off V-day chocolate at your local CVS on February 15th. This Spotify playlist is packed with some of my favorite love-related songs, including what I believe to be the better metaphorical wrecking ball song, “Bulldozer” by Cold War Kids. So grab your significant other, best friend, or Chinese food, and turn up the volume to this week’s installation of Listener’s Block. Dance, snuggle, laugh, drink, get sexy, what have you. Go all out. Today is your day, listeners.
