Caribbean Beat with Claudette

I am Claudette Yvonne Bailey. I am originally from Kingston, Jamaica West Indies in the Caribbean. For the past 41 years or so, I have resided in Ewing Township, New Jersey. Starting December 1986 to present I have produced and delivered a weekly radio program called Caribbean Beat. Caribbean Beat airs every Saturday from 3 to 6 pm EST/EDT WTSR 91.3 FM and online at www.wtsr.org (the slogan is “Open Your Mind”) at Trenton State College (now The College of New Jersey). I also enjoy listening to Caribbean music, particularly Reggae and some calypso, dancing, fitness training, gardening, dancing, home improvement and more. In April 2010 I received the Community DJ Volunteer award for 2009-2010 as a token of appreciation for my participation. I was a panelist on the 2014 Panel – 2/26/14 Imparting Professional Wisdom by Reconstructing the Past. The title was related to the campus-wide theme for the year of “Reconstructing the Past.”
